Data Tracking Activity
To meet my goals of collecting, organizing, visualizing, and analyzing data, I used my phone's health app to track steps and miles walked. I created a line graph for weekly averages and a bar graph for daily miles, which revealed key trends and outliers. Week five showed a spike in activity due to spending time daily with friends and my girlfriend, while weekdays generally had higher movement compared to weekends. The largest outlier occurred on a day with class, work, and an evening exam. This process showcased my ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights about how my schedule impacts my activity levels.



Team Presentation
This project taught me the importance of clearly structuring our presentation with a concise introduction, logical transitions between sections, and a persuasive conclusion, all backed by credible examples from our research on outsourcing to Brazil. Through discussing this topic, we highlighted how well-designed visual aids—like clear charts and graphics—made complex points easier to grasp. Additionally, I realized firsthand that strong vocal delivery, confident posture, and professional attire boosted our credibility with the audience. Overall, by balancing thorough research with effective organization and delivery, we created a persuasive, engaging presentation.

Email Activity
This project taught me the importance of clear and professional communication when providing constructive feedback in the workplace. I learned to consider the audience's needs, maintain a respectful tone, and balance critique with actionable suggestions to encourage improvements. Revising the email highlighted the value of clarity, organization, and proper formatting in creating effective workplace communication that meets both professional standards and audience expectations.


Feedback
Giving and receiving feedback from classmates taught me the value of collaboration and different perspectives in improving work. I learned how to provide constructive critiques that are clear and actionable while also understanding how to accept feedback graciously and use it to refine my ideas. This process emphasized the importance of communication and adaptability in achieving better outcomes.
